It is heard that 'Sitara Entertainments' banner that has been busily producing several films is now stepping into overseas distribution business as well.
Sources say that this banner has procured the Australian rights for the film RRR at a price of Rs 6.5 Cr.
All these years, Sitara has only produced films. Though the banners had a good network with local distributors it never stepped into that segment. But it is becoming official now with RRR.
But when called, producer Naga Vamshi of Sitara banner said that he has made an agreement in this connection with RRR only on an obligation but not with an idea to step into the distribution business.
But RRR distribution sources are saying that Australian Rights were sold to Naga Vamshi as he has shown interest.
