Samantha announced that she would take some break from films. Many suspected that she is taking this decision only to go in the family way.
Some gossipped that she is retiring from films permanently. To all this Samantha gave an explanation
"I am taking a break from films for a few months. You are seeing Samantha 2.0 now and you will be seeing Samantha 3.0 version. I will continue acting", she said.
She also shared that corona lockdowns brought some gap in her career but still she is about to take some more gap. But she didn't disclose the concrete reason for her decision. Many still believe that she is planning for pregnancy.
On the other hand, saying about her acting skills, "It is very difficult to do comedy especially for the female artistes. Many assume it is easy. It requires a lot of timing. I find acting in comedy scenes difficult", she confessed.
Right now Samantha is working in a Tamil film along with Shaakuntalam. After completing these two films she is taking a break for a few months.
