Satire In Japan, Dark Comedy Worked Well

Hero Karthi who is enjoying the success of his last few movies is gearing up to entertain us in a unique crime comedy film Japan which will arrive on November 10th for Diwali. Nagarjuna’s Annapurna Studios is releasing the Telugu version of the movie.

Karthi clarifies that Japan is not a true story, but it was inspired by some real incidents. “The director of this film, Raju Murugan was a reporter before turned a director. His experiences are also included in this one. He got the National Award for the movie Joker. Another new aspect was discovered in Japan. The movie gives a new experience to the audience.”

The actor revealed that it was Raju Murugan who wrote the dialogues for the Tamil version of Oopiri. “Like in Joker, there is satire in Japan too. The dark comedy worked well. The humor in the movie will surprise the audience. After a long time, I did a satirical and humorous role with mass touch.”

Karthi also stated that Japan will have a prequel or a sequel.
