With the advent of apps like BookMyShow, the inconvenience of pre-visiting the cinema, standing in lines, sweating, and obtaining tickets has become a thing of the past.

However, media promoters provided outdated advice to the company that acquired Salaar cinema for the Nizam area.

Predicting massive crowds if tickets were sold only at the theaters, they suggested that the resulting chaos could be captured on video and used for promotion.

Nizam has initiated evening bookings near some theaters in Hyderabad, deeming it a positive move.

However, when the bookings opened, hundreds of Prabhas fans rushed for tickets, leading to significant chaos. At one point, the police had to use lathi sticks to control the situation, causing the fans to disperse.

Social media is now ablaze with criticism of this policy. Comments suggest that Mythri's decision was misguided, advocating for an alternative method or emphasizing the use of technology instead of this regressive approach.

Despite the backlash, Salaar's buyers appear to relish the heightened buzz and excitement surrounding the movie. However, this approach poses another problem: a potential resurgence of the black market.

If insufficient tickets are sold at the theaters, there is a risk of impatience and anger among the audience. Many on social media are blasting the minds that came up with this idea.
