Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas will be seen as Saakini Daakini in the official remake of South Korean action-comedy film Midnight Runners.
Sudheer Varma has made the movie as a female oriented one and unlike the original, the remake version has sufficient comedy.
The film’s trailer shows Regina and Nivetha as batchmates who hate each other initially, but friendship develops between them over a period of time.
Things go smoothly for them, until they witness a kidnap in front of them. They start chasing the kidnappers and the training sessions help them to deal with different situations.
Sudheer Varma and team did the right thing by adding fun elements for this action thriller which indeed brought freshness to the story.
The Ola joke in the end is the most hilarious part in the video. It’s evident through the trailer that Saakini Daakini is an actioner laced with fun elements.
The demon Regina Cassandra, and the shot gun Nivetha Thomas, together offered lots of entertainment. The duo has also performed some stunning stunts.
Suresh Productions, Guru Films and Kross Pictures have collaborated for the second time, after the superhit Oh Baby.
Mikey McCleary and Naresh Kumaran have provided music, wherein Richard Prasad has handled the cinematography of the movie.
Saakini Daakini is up for release on 16th of this month.
