It is known that the film Maestro, starring Nithiin is going to the direct release on OTT.
Hotstar has closed the deal with Rs 32 Cr. Apart from this, the audio rights and Hindi dubbing rights are yet to be closed.
As it is the direct OTT release, the publicity costs upto Rs 1 Cr can be saved.
This film was made based on the Hindi hit Andhadhun. An estimate says that about Rs 29 Cr was apent on its making.
That way, producer Sudhakar Reddy made a profitable deal. He needs to send the final copy to Hotstar by the end of July.
The film may be released on the platform in the second week of August.
