RFC Gets Huge Business With Lockdown

RFC Gets Huge Business With Lockdown

Coronavirus has impacted several industries including Telugu cinema industry. Due to the lockdown, all the activities in the industry came to a screeching halt.

No one knows when the industry will be back to normalcy but one thing is pretty clear, one has to forget about the outdoor shootings even after the lockdown restrictions are lifted. Outdoor shoots are very difficult to plan and execute like the filmmakers used to do earlier.

Considering the practical problems, several filmmakers are planning to depend on the Ramoji Film City for their shoots. That way, RFC is going to get benefitted.

Similarly, the schedules that were planned in Mumbai, Kolkata and other foreign locations had to be shifted to the local locations or film studios.

It is going to be a big headache for the filmmakers to complete all the schedules in Hyderabad. Because it is very difficult to get equipment and the required manpower.

When the demand is more and the supply is less, it is obvious that the expenditure will shoot up for each and everything.

There are some films which require outdoor shoot as per the story requirement. When these films will get a clearance for the abroad schedules is a million dollar question now.

For example, Prabhas' movie has an extensive Europe schedule.

Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa' needs to be shot extensively in the forests.  It is not possible to shoot those scenes locally.

Nithiin's  'Rang De' also has a balance schedule in Europe. The list goes on and on.

Big producers are able to handle this pressure but small producers are finding it very tough because their investment is blocked and they are literally clueless now.
