'Pushpa' Hindi Lands in Censor Trouble

'Pushpa' Hindi Lands in Censor Trouble

The Hindi release of “Pushpa” has become a mess. The latest trouble for the film is that it is yet to obtain the censor certificate for the Hindi version.

The makers could not send complete print to the censor board. The board refused to watch the ‘unfinished’ film.

Now, the team has now sent the final print. But it will have to get clearance by tomorrow.

Director Sukumar and his technical team were busy doing corrections to the film until Monday.

The Telugu and South Indian language versions were cleared even though they didn’t have final sound mixing.

Moreover, the Hindi version is not getting many screens in Mumbai, Delhi, and other big cities as the multiplexes preferred the Hollywood biggie, Spiderman: No Way Home.

The film has been facing problems for the Hindi version right from the beginning.

The Hindi distributor refused to release it in the theaters first because he bought the rights with the sole intention to release it on YouTube.

But Allu Arjun has convinced the distributor by agreeing to give the compensation. But he has not promoted the film yet. There is hardly any big push for the film.
