Director Puri Jagannadh has been in a huge financial mess. He owes crores of money to the lenders and financiers as he had seen only duds in recent times.
His previous production “Mehbooba” that introduced his son Akash Puri as a lead hero was a huge loss venture. The film added more debts to his already misery state.
Puri himself told the media that his fate would be decided on the result of “iSmart Shankar”.
Had the film flopped, he would have sold off some more lands to clear the debts. There was a report that he sold one of his houses in Jubilee Hills just before starting the shoot of “iSmart Shankar”.
Now, the movie is all set to provide him huge profits and he will now be free of financial tensions.
His partner Charmee has already lined up some interesting projects for their banner. They will together make big profits.
The Puri camp is on a marathon of parties and success celebrations.
