Director Prashanth Neel is currently filming “Salaar” with Prabhas and Shruti Haasan in the lead role. The first schedule began in Ramagundam in Telangana.
In a recent interview with a local Telugu newspaper, the ‘KGF’ director clarified that the film is an original.
“I read such news reports that Salaar is a remake. It is not a remake of my previous movie Ugramm. Nor it is based on any Hollywood or Bollywood hit. The story is written specifically for Prabhas with an original idea,” he mentioned in this interview.
Prashanth Neel also sounded confident about releasing the movie as early as possible. Buzz is that he will complete the entire production by August or September.
