The pre release event of OG happened at LB Stadium in Hyderabad. There was a heavy rain forecast for a couple of days, and everyone knew how bad the situation could be.
Yet, the event was still foolishly organized at an open-air venue. Even the organizers didn’t seem to plan properly. What happened finally? It was a complete mess.
Fans who came to watch the event got drenched in heavy rain. The musical programs and other activities planned for the day ended up ruined. Even Shivamani’s performance suffered due to the weather.
Pawan Kalyan took charge of the event, taking the mike from anchor Suma to engaging fans and to complete the proceedings as quickly as possible.
Instead of an outdoor stadium, the event could have been held indoors. Hyderabad has many indoor facilities that could easily accommodate fans. Unlike Amaravathi, there’s no shortage of suitable indoor venues here.
The event itself was designed very well by director Sujeeth and would have gone perfectly without the rain.
Planning an open-air event during the rainy season, especially when heavy rainfall is forecast, shows poor judgment on the part of the organizers.
