Director Anil Ravipudi, who recently delivered a massive blockbuster with “Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu”, is yet to officially announce his next project.
While the film is locked for a 2027 Sankranthi release, the makers have maintained silence about the full cast and other details.
It is known to all that the film will star Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead role.
Anil Ravipudi recently informed the media and social media that he will announce the movie himself and don’t believe in any speculative reports. He dismissed titles that came out in social media.
Initially, strong buzz suggested that Fahadh Faasil was being considered for the second role.
Fahadh Faasil is known to Telugu audiences for his role in “Pushpa” movies, but he doesn’t have a market in Tamil or other languages.
However, the latest industry talk indicates that Karthi is now the frontrunner.
Given his market strength in both Tamil and Telugu, the makers are reportedly keen on roping him in to give the film a wider appeal across both states.
