No Hindi Theatrical Release for Pushpa!

No Hindi Theatrical Release for Pushpa!

Allu Arjun has been promoting “Pushpa” aggressively. Until now, he has been promoting it as his first Pan-Indian film. But he got a rude shock.

The film may not have a theatrical release in the Hindi market.

The Hindi dubbing rights of “Pushpa The Rise” were sold off to a Hindi distributor much before the makers had planned it as a Pan-Indian project. Hence, the distributor is not agreeing to the makers’ current terms to release it in the theaters.

Apparently, the recent discussions have failed between the makers and the Hindi distributor.

As things stand today, the film may not have a theatrical release in the Hindi market. If that is the case, it will not become a Pan-Indian movie.

Allu Arjun is trying hard to convince the distributor, who is adamant about not bending their rules.

Directed by Sukumar, the film’s final song is being canned in Hyderabad with more than 1000 dancers. Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling the film on a massive scale.
