Nani's Pan India Attempts Ignoring The Home Turf

Nani's Pan India Attempts Ignoring The Home Turf

Actor Nani is giving more importance to promoting his upcoming film in other states than in his home turf. The film, 'Dasara', which has been produced at a cost of 80 crores, is set to be released shortly.

Nani is currently traveling to Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and the North to promote the film. Despite this effort, it appears that the publicity for the film has not been effective in generating interest among audiences.

The same marketing banner had previously made the producers spend a significant amount of money on publicity for three or four films in the North, but ended up with mixed results. While one film became a hit, the others were unsuccessful.

In the case of the current film, lakhs of rupees have already been paid to PR agencies in Mumbai, but it is unclear how effective this has been.

While press meets and interviews have been conducted in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, and the film's trailer was launched in the North, there has been little promotion of the film in Telugu states.

The film is set in Telangana and features dialogue in the local dialect. However, it is important for the film to also appeal to audiences in Andhra Pradesh to achieve success.

Furthermore, it is unclear whether the film's Pan-India campaign will be effective, given that the actor's next project is a love story that may not have the same mass appeal.

The producer must focus on ensuring that the film is a hit in Telugu, and Nani must consider reducing his own remuneration to achieve this goal. But will that happen?

Nani is exploring various genres to avoid being typecast as a comedy hero, which is a wise decision. However, he should choose something distinctive and original rather than imitating other actors.

In conclusion, Nani should focus more on promoting the film in Telugu states since it features a rugged and rustic setting that may appeal to Telugu audiences.
