Nani Says Strict 'No' To Direct OTT

Nani Says Strict 'No' To Direct OTT

Nani’s plans have gone topsy-turvy due to the second wave of the corona. He wanted to release “Tuck Jagadish” this weekend and “Shyam Singha Roy” in August or September. Now, all films got postponed.

“Tuck Jagadish” will not make it to the theaters anytime soon. The health experts predict that the current situation would continue till the end of May. So, films may release only in June or July.

While some producers are looking at other options like direct-OTT releases, Nani has strictly informed his producers not to be swayed by OTT offers.

He made a promise to his fans that he would release “Tuck Jagadish” in theaters. Last year his “V” was premiered on Amazon Prime skipping theatrical release.

Now Nani doesn’t want to release another film on the OTT platform directly.

He made it clear to his producers to wait even if the situation worsens in the coming months. He wants to release the film in theaters only.

On Wednesday on the occasion of the Srirama Navami festival, the makers have released a brand new poster of the film proclaiming that it would hit the theaters soon.
