It has become predictable to say that one person who would be present at any movie event in the Telugu film industry is popular anchor Suma. Whoever is the hero of the film, she will host the event. She has that popularity, access, and skill.
Even though her presentation has become routine, the makers are not finding a suitable replacement. Hence, they are paying her a whopping Rs 1.5 lakh and are adjusting their events according to her schedules.
There are a couple of other female anchors but they have yet to achieve the popularity as Suma does have.
But some filmmakers have now realized that the events are turning monotonous. Example: the makers of Radhe Shyam. They have tried something new.
The trailer launch event of “Radhe Shyam” will be held tomorrow in Hyderabad. The host will be none other than the young and rising actor Naveen Polishetty.
The star of “Jathi Ratnalu” has a special bonding with Prabhas and the production house, UV Creations. Hence, Naveen agreed to host the event. It will bring novelty, for sure.
