Mega fans had been eagerly awaiting the inclusion of Nagababu as a minister in the Andhra Pradesh cabinet. However, that now seems unlikely, despite earlier signs suggesting it might happen.
All that Nagababu has received so far is an MLC post, but since then, he has rarely been seen in the public sphere, except for appearing at two or three events shortly after receiving the MLC status.
It is almost 6 months ago that Chandrababu Naidu announced Nagababu will be made a minister, but there has been pin drop silence on this matter since then.
Now, mega fans have lost hope of seeing Nagababu in the ministry. Nothing seems to be moving in that direction, and there are clear indications that the TDP is not interested in accommodating him in the cabinet.
When questioned, a TDP leader commented, “What has he done after becoming an MLC? What kind of value can he add to the government? Ministries are given based on merit and potential, not just on request.”
The TDP leader further added, “Moreover, there’s no threat to the government if Nagababu is not given a ministry. So the government doesn’t feel the need at all.”
He concluded by saying that the curtains have come down completely on the possibility of Nagababu becoming a minister — 100%.
