I Knew Johnny Would Flop While Making It: Pawan

After a long time, Pawan Kalyan spoke on various aspects related to the film world at a book launch on Monday.

He has been keeping himself away from the films for the last one and a half years but he was candid enough to admit about his failures in the film industry as well.

“In creative field failures are quite common. Even while making, I know that my directorial venture ‘Johnny’ would flop. I messed it up mixing my thoughts and trying to pander to the commercial interests. Only writers like Parachuri Brothers succeed in commercializing a relevant topic,” he said.

However, Pawan Kalyan didn’t talk anything about his re-entry into Tollywood. Writer Parachuri Gopala Krishna urged him to change his mind of focusing on politics only.

“Late MGR became Chief Minister of Tamilnadu even while he was busy acting in films. You (Pawan) should take inspiration from MGR,” Gopala Krishna urged Pawan Kalyan and the Jana Sena leader smiled at this suggestion.
