In Tollywood, success is usually seen as the main route to opportunities. Actresses who fail to deliver hits are often labelled as unlucky or “iron leg.” However, there are rare exceptions.
One such actress is Bhagyashri Borse, who continues to receive love from directors, producers, heroes and even the audience despite not having a box office success so far.
She acted in films Mr Bachchan, Kingdom, Kaantha and Andhra King Taluka; surprisingly all period backdrop films and all flops.
Though she has striking beauty and good acting ability, the success of her films has not matched her potential. Still, luck seems to favour her in terms of being part of a successful film.
After a series of flops, she is now working opposite Akhil Akkineni in Lenin and has also been almost considered for Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s next project with director Swaroop of "Agent Sreenivas Atreya" fame, though it is not officially confirmed yet. Sithara Entertainments is making this project.
In several production houses, her name keeps coming up during casting discussions. If even one of her films turns into a blockbuster, she could quickly move to the top league.
Her looks, talent and humble nature are said to be the reasons for this steady demand.
