Dhanush who last appeared in Captain Miller is coming up with his 50th movie for which he is also the writer and director.
Sun Pictures is bankrolling this Telugu, Tamil and Hindi trilingual project, where Sundeep Kishan and Kalidas Jayaram will be seen in other lead roles.
The makers announced the film’s title Raayan and they have also come up with its first look poster that shows the menacing trio- Dhanush, Sundeep Kishan, and Kalidas Jayaram.
The poster presents the lead actors as chefs as they wear aprons and hold kitchen-cutting tools such as knives, etc.
However, the intensity in their faces and the way they hold the tools suggest the violent nature of the characters. The poster surely grabs the attention.
This is the second movie together for Dhanush and Sundeep Kishan, after Captain Miller. Sundeep who received praise for his intense show in Captain Miller is said to be playing a crucial and lengthy role in Raayan.
The movie also stars SJ Surya, Selvaraghavan, Aparna Balamurali, and Dhushara Vijayan in crucial roles. It also has some leading technicians handling different crafts.
AR Rahman scores the soundtracks for the movie and has cinematography handled by OM Prakash, while Peter Hein is the action choreographer.
Raayan is planned for release this year.
