BO: Dhurandhar 2 Crosses Rs 500 Cr Like A Storm!

Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge is continuing its sensational run at the box office.

The spy thriller recorded a massive jump on Day 3 and has now crossed the ₹500 crore mark worldwide.

According to Sacnilk, the film collected around ₹113 crore net in India on Saturday alone. With this, its three-day domestic total, excluding paid previews, has gone up to an impressive ₹296.27 crore net.

The film had opened with ₹102.55 crore on Thursday, followed by ₹80.72 crore on Friday, before showing strong growth on Saturday.

The film is performing equally well overseas. Its international gross is estimated at around ₹96.50 crore, taking the worldwide total collection to approximately ₹501.04 crore.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge is witnessing exceptional traction in North America, especially in the United States and Canada, where it has secured one of the widest releases ever for an Indian film.

The film is playing across 4,405 shows in the region. Reports suggest that even before spot bookings, more than two lakh tickets had already been sold for Day 3, generating nearly ₹23.70 crore in advance sales.

Trade reports indicate that the film is on course to record one of the highest single-day collections ever for an Indian film in the North American market.

At the current pace, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is expected to climb rapidly among the highest-grossing Indian films worldwide.

Its long-term target appears to be the elite ₹2,000 crore club, a milestone achieved so far only by Dangal, which grossed around ₹2,070 crore worldwide.

Among India’s top global grossers are Baahubali 2: The Conclusion with ₹1,788.06 crore, Pushpa 2: The Rule with ₹1,742.10 crore, Dhurandhar with ₹1,307.35 crore, RRR with ₹1,230 crore, KGF: Chapter 2 with ₹1,215 crore, Jawan with ₹1,160 crore, and Kalki 2898 AD with ₹1,042.25 crore.

Written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, the film stars Ranveer Singh as Indian spy Hamza Ali Mazari, who infiltrates Pakistan’s criminal-terror networks.

The cast also includes R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor, and Sara Arjun.
