Telugu producer Allu Aravind made a big announcement of producing the mythological drama Ramayan with a budget of Rs 1500 crore.
The film was planned in the direction of Nitesh Tiwari of “Dangal” and “Chhichhore”.
However, Allu Aravind and his partners have now realized that the Ramayan project would not be viable without a big star playing the role of Lord Rama.
With the announcement of Prabhas’s “Adipurush”, a film based on Ramayana, Akshay Kumars “Ram Sethu”, Allu Arvind’s movie doesn’t stand a chance unless he ropes in a big star like Hrithik Roshan.
Considering all these factors, Allu Aravind’s dream project is being scrapped. He is now more into making OTT-business a big success.
