The 67th National Film Awards are being announced today. The awards are for films from the year of 2019.
Natural Star Nani’s critically acclaimed and commercially successful film Jersey has bagged two National Awards, including best regional film. Editor Naveen Nooli has also won award.
Jersey was directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri under Sithara Entertainments. The film preciously won several other awards.
The director is remaking Jersey in Bollywood with the same title. Shahid Kapoor has stepped into the shoes of Nani for the Hindi version.
