Agnyaathavaasi's debacle has hit one girl real hard. Anu Emanuel who played one of the heroines in Pawan Kalyan-starrer hoped the film will put her into the big league.
However, once the film hit the screens, there was lots of negative feedback about the heroines and their characters.
Of course, it is a different matter that Trivikram's taken for granted attitude resulted in the entire team getting a bad name.
And surely this has impacted Anu Emanuel who is trying to get a firm foothold in the industry.
Now, she has pinned all her hopes on her next big film, in which she is paired opposite Allu Arjun. In Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India, Anu plays the love interest of Bunny.
Though the plot gives the feel that it is a serious subject, there is talk that heroine has a substantial role in the film. If the film ends up being a hit at the box office, then offers will pour in for Anu.
Already, the Malayalee beauty has two flops in her kitty with Oxygen and Agnyaathavaasi. If she does not have a hit soon, it is likely that she will be labelled an iron leg by media.
But Allu Arjun's films are minimum guarantee films and Naa Peru Surya could decide Anu's future in the industry.
