That YSR Congress party leader from Palamaner Rakesh Reddy is going to produce the film on NTR being directed by Ram Gopal Varma has created ripples in the film and political circles.
Though Varma tried to clarify that it was just a coincidence that Rakesh Reddy happens to be a leader of the YSRCP and that its president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has no connection with it, the answers given by Rakesh to queries from the media clearly showed that the film is going to target Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu.
He said he had decided to produce the film only because he strongly felt people should know the facts about NTR and death.
He said whatever had happened to NTR would be shown in the film sincerely, irrespective of its political implications.
Asked whether he would project Naidu as the one who had stabbed NTR in the back, Reddy said: “Please watch it in the film.”
Reddy further said though there was no politics behind producing the film, it would certainly cause a lot of fireworks before the next elections. The film would be released around October 2018, a few months before the elections.
He even said he would not succumb to any threats or pressures while producing the film, as he had every right to do so.
Asked whether there would be any characters resembling NTR’s family members, Reddy said it would be revealed only in the film.
