Top 10: Fidaa Beats Attharintiki Daaredi

It has finally happened. “Fidaa” has crossed the collections of powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s biggest hit “Attarinitki Daaredi” overseas. “Fidaa” has crossed $1.9 million mark by end of its third Sunday run.

Over the past weekend, the film grossed about $140k. It now stands at $1.91 million in total collections. So, it is now closer to touch the $2 million mark.

Varun Tej is happy that his film touched the collections of his babai’s movie in overseas territory. His brother Ram Charan doesn’t have this record and Allu Arjun too is way behind.

Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the love story of a Telangana girl and an NRI has struck a chord with Telugu audiences in the US.

"Fidaa" is one of the biggest hits in Tollywood this year. At the US box office, the movie ranks as the fourth biggest hit in Indian movies for 2017.

On the other hand, last weekend’s releases Krishnavamsi’s “Nakshatram” and “Darshakudu” bit the dust. They turned out to be total duds in the US too.

“Darshakudu”, produced by Sukumar raked in mere $9000. Krishnavamsi’s “Nakshatram” got lowest numbers as it managed just about $6000 dollars.
