It is known that Sukumar's Rangasthalam has been pushed from Sankranthi to a March release.
Well, this has given ample time for Sukumar, who is known to make films at his own pace. While the entire shoot was wrapped up by January, he has been reshooting parts of the film, now that he has enough time.
Ram Charan who finished his part in January was keen on starting Boyapati Sreenu's next. However, since the patchwork for Rangasthalam is still going on, he has put Boyapati's film on hold.
Charan's role in Rangasthalam requires him to keep the beard, so he has paused Boyapati's film.
Along with him, cinematographer Ratnavel too is caught up with Rangasthalam. Due to this, the shoot of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy's second schedule has been deferred.
Meanwhile, thanks to Sukumar's spending, the costs have escalated for producers and they haven't started business for Rangasthalam as yet, as they are unsure of the final production cost.
In all, Sukumar's directorial style has ended up being a costly affair for the producers and other film units.
