The film received mixed reviews and NTR might have been disappointed with some sections of media, still, "Jai Lava Kusa" has once again established him as the most dependable star in Tollywood right now.
Given that he has a film with Trivikram next, speculations are rife about the film and his character in it.
As per some sources, NTR will be playing an army officer in the film to be set in the backdrop of Kashmir.
However, sources close to director Trivikram have brushed aside all such rumours. They clarify that the story narrated by Trivikram will have a lot of changes and that the story is not set in army backdrop.
It is only after completion of Pawan Kalyan's 25th film that Trivikram will sit on NTR's film. Trivikram is said to be planning to develop story to make it a wholesome entertainer.
Apparently, the director wants to bring out the best performance from NTR while giving an entertainer to the audience. The film will be more entertaining than Adhurs, say sources.
Recently, when asked about his look in the film, NTR skipped the question as he knew Trivikram was still working on it.
"I had planned one look in my mind, however, I will start preparing for it only after Trivikram gives full character sketch," he told media.
And before the film hits the floors, NTR will be working on shedding some extra kilos. The Trivikram-NTR film will be produced by Haarika-Haasine Creations with a whopping Rs 100 crore. The movie will go on to the sets in March.
