The agitation by the Telugu Desam Party MPs inside and outside Parliament demanding special category status to Andhra Pradesh and implementation of promises made in AP Reorganisation Act had been routine and boring all these for the media persons in the national capital all these days.
Except for the theatrics of Chittoor MP N Sivaprasad, who has been sporting various attires every day to attract the attention of the media, the other TDP MPs have been doing nothing except raising slogans and holding placards before the media for some time before dispersing.
On Tuesday, however, there was some refreshing change in their protests. Siddharth Galla, the younger son of TDP MP from Guntur Galla Jayadev, came to Delhi to join the protests.
He also held placards and raised slogans along with the other MPs and instantly, the media persons and camera persons showed curiosity to know who he was.
A TDP leader commented that, “Siddharth really gave a glamour touch to the agitation and provided relief to the routine dharnas. Though he did not speak much, his presence gave us some attraction and attention from the media,” he said.
Siddharth, who happens to be nephew of Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu, is also seriously planning to foray into the film industry shortly.
