Right now, Balakrishna is busy with the shooting of Jai Simha. The film is being made by C Kalyan on CK Entertainments Banner.
Nearly 70 per cent of the shooting is complete and the producer C Kalyan is trying to push the film for Sankranthi release.
Now, everyone knows about Balayya's films. If the film runs well, then it has a good run; else, it does not get even minimum amount. But C Kalyan is acting oblivious to all this. He has fixed high rates for distributors.
Barring overseas and one-odd areas, he has increased rates for all areas by nearly 40 per cent. Due to this, the market is now open in most areas.
Naturally, this has resulted in distributors backing off. On the other hand, Kalyan has retained Uttarandhra and West and hiked the prices for other areas. This too has become a concern for distributors.
Thanks to this behavior, the film has become subject for some jokes doing rounds in the industry. Those in industry circles are laughing that Balayya's film is being sold for the prices of Baahubali.
