Reports appeared in the media that Rana is doing a key role in Megastar Chiranjeevi's next movie, "Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy". But Rana has denied the news saying he was not approached for any role in the movie.
Ram Charan is Rana's close friend and they grew up together. Rana also has huge respect towards megastar Chiranjeevi uncle.
But sources close to Rana have informed GreatAndhra.com that neither Ram Charan nor director Surender Reddy approached him or spoke about any role.
Rana would definitely not miss the opportunity to act with legend Chiru if he gets the offer but the call from their side hasn't come to Rana.
On the other hand, Surender Reddy is still busy with pre-production work for "Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy". Dialogue version by the writers has not yet been completed.
Sai Madhav Burra of "Gautamiputra Satakarni" fame is working for the movie on dialogues along with Vema Reddy and Madhu. The film will be launched in August. So, as of now they are not thinking about casting process.
"Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy" narrates the story of famous freedom fighter that revolted against British occupation in 1840's and the movie is to be produced by Ram Charan on Konidela Productions.
Megastar Chiranjeevi will be playing the titular role and the movie also needs major stars in pivotal roles.
