Allu Arjun and Vakkantam Vamsi have come together for the film Naa Peru Surya. The film is readying for release and the marketing for it has started.
In fact, the film has been sold in many areas. Talk is that the film has been sold for Rs 7.5 crore in Uttarandhra area.
But when it comes to Nizam, it is a big market and Bunny has high hopes on this area. So, the producer of the film Lagadapati Sridhar has been quoting a high price for it. He is asking for Rs 25 crore, while an offer has been made for Rs 20 crore.
It is said the people who bought the rights for Vizag are planning to come together to buy rights for Nizam. However, if he does not get the expected price, Lagadapati Sridhar is also said to be contemplating releasing the film on his own via Asian Sunil.
Going back a little, Bunny's super hit film Sarrainodu was collected Rs 20 crore and Race Gurram made it to Rs 18 crore in Nizam area. So, industry insiders feel Lagadapati has set his expectations rather high.
In fact, some would have risked the price had the film released prior to Agnyaathavaasi. However, with the debacle of the film, the rates have come down by 10 per cent for summer releases.
