The heroine who is all over the media for her performance as the acne-faced, Telangana girl Bhanumati insists she will never act in a remake.
"There is no guarantee that I can repeat the same expressions as the original. Also, there is no surety that the character will be appreciated as the original one.
As far as I am concerned, I am sure that I cannot repeat the same expressions with the freshness of the original one. So, I will never act in a remake. They are not for me," says Sai Pallavi.
This was her response when she asked if she would like to play her part in a Tamil or Malayalam remake. She maintains that it is not just Fidaa's remake, but that it applies to any other remake.
She confesses that it challenges her to work in original projects with fresh content. That's the reason for the appreciation she got for her roles as Malar in Premam and Bhanumati in Telugu, says Sai Pallavi.
Right now, she is acting in MCA with Nani. Directed by Venu Sriram, the film is once again being produced by her Fidaa maker Dil Raju. The film is being readied for a Christmas release.
