For the first time, Nani and Nagarjuna have teamed up for a multi-starrer that is being produced by veteran producer Ashwini Dutt.
The film brought these stars together as the script narrated by director Sriram Aditya is very interesting. Moreover, Sriram Aditya proved his mettle that he is good at weaving thrillers.
His first two films “Bhale Bhale Manchi Roju” (hit) and “Samanthakamani” (flop) got good ratings.
Strange as it may sound, the director has now taken the basic plot from Bollywood hit movie “Johnny Gaddaar”. The 2007 Bollywood thriller was also directed by Sriram, but not Aditya. It is Sriram Raghavan.
The Bollywood movie starred young actor Neil Nithin Mukesh and senior actor Dharmendra. Here, Nani and Nagarjuna are reprising the roles, say industry insiders. The team members are not opening up on this buzz.
If the film is truly the remake of a Hindi movie, it will not have much hype. Although the Hindi film was an highly acclaimed thriller, its prospects in overseas market will be low.
