Mohan Krishna Indraganti is a national award winning director with movies like ‘Grahanam’, ‘Ashta Chamma’, ‘Maya Bazar’ and ‘Antaka Mundu Aa Taravata’ to his credit. His latest film ‘Bandipotu’ however turned out to be a big box-office disaster.
On the other hand, Nani who made his debut as hero with ‘Ashta Chamma’ is going great guns with successive hits ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’ and ‘Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gatha’.
Nani is now doing a film with Indraganti titled ‘Dhamaka’. Why would Nani want to work with a director who is having a very bad run at the box-office?
The answer is simple. Nani looks upon Indraganti as his mentor and he agreed to ‘Dhamaka’ out of gratitude and respect for Indraganti.
It is really heartening to see heroes with values like Nani in a cut-throat industry. Hopefully, Indraganti will also come back to winning ways with Dhamaka.
