NTR senior was a man who grew step by step. With a highly successful career, he distributed all his wealth among his 11 to 12 children.
And in turn, his children visit his Samadhi on his death anniversary and if possible release a quarter page ad on that day. That has been the norm since he passed away.
Though he gave away money to all his children, one house is under common possession. That's the house in Chennai where he lived during shoots.
Now his children have decided to sell it. The responsibility has been given with Balayya and the house is being shown to all interested parties.
The market rate of the house is said to be Rs 25 crores, which is peanuts for all of NTR's children. For Balayya, it is one year's earnings, for NTR Jr, it is the remuneration of 2 films.
Still the family is not making any efforts to keep the bungalow within the family. In fact, the state government can buy it and turn it into a museum, but efforts are also not being made in that direction.
All children have decided to sell the house and take the Rs 2-3 crores that they will get after the sale. In fact, while Rs 2-3 crores is no small amount, it is nothing for his children.
When NTR's memorial was built, it was built with people's money, the same can be done with the house too. But his children don't want to lose money.
It's rather saddening that they do little to keep the memories of the man who gave them name, fame and memories alive.
