Titles of both Ram Charan’s and Balakrishna’s s latest films were announced today. Both the directors surprisingly went for theme based titles rather than heroic titles.
Sukumar is not known for mass friendly titles which is why Rangasthalam 1985 may not have surprised mega fans.
Initial response for the title on the social media indicates that they are impressed with the title.
But Puri Jagannadh opting for Paisa Vasool title over other speculated titles like Usthad and Jai Balayya is surprising.
Puri Jagannadh likes to put hero-centric titles and with a mass hero like Balayya as the lead, fans might not have expected a soft title like Paisa Vasool.
Balakrishna’s look from the film is also revealed today and the choice of first look posters is also a bit underwhelming for fans. They would certainly expect a powerful poster of Balakrishna, but instead Puri released cheerful pictures of the actor.
Perhaps Puri wants to set right expectations on the film as it is an out and out entertainer that presents Balakrishna in an entirely new avatar.
On the other hand, Sukumar hasn’t released the official logo of Rangasthalam 1985. He just revealed the name of the film in English font.
Apart from Ram Charan’s getup sketch, official stills from the film aren’t released yet. They may not do that anytime soon as the film is slated for release for Sankranthi that is six months away from now.
