Malavika Nair has shifted her base to Hyderabad. She wants to be close to Telugu movie industry and also continue pursuing higher studies.
She has joined popular women's college in Hyderabad - St. Francis, Begumpet. History, English literature and political science are the main subjects that she took up in her under graduation.
Malavika says she regularly attends classes and is very studious. One thing she doesn't like is that students treating her as a celebrity.
The 'Taxiwaala' girl also admits that she may not suit for typical commercial mass movies but she is game for glamour roles. I wll maintain my figure to suit any kind of role, she declares.
This year, she has appeared in 'Mahanati', 'Vijetha' and 'Taxiwaala'.
On Me Too, she says this is very important that a conversation like this has started.
"I feel it is too late. Personally, I haven't experienced anything like sexual harassment because I am lucky. It is true that there is discrimination towards women in the industry but that doesn't make Tollywood bad any worse than any other industry. But it is important to acknowledge it and change it," she voices her opinion.
