Mad Rush of New Releases in Coming Days

Starting this weekend, there will be at least two or three new releases every week as most of the movies have already announced their release dates. Except Venkatesh’s “Babu Bangaram, all are small or medium budgeted movies that are going to hit the screens in the next 30 days.

Sunil who has no hit in the last two years is testing his luck again with a new release “Jakkanna” which releases on 29th July. On the same day, a small film “Pelli Choopulu” that has become hot topic on social media is releasing.

Come August 5, we will be seeing three small movies fighting for our attention. Budding hero Allu Sirish’s “Srirastu Subhamastu”, Aadi starrer “Chuttalabbayi” and Malaylalam legendary star Mohanlal’s first straight Telugu release “Manamantha” are releasing on 5th August.

On 12th August, Venkatesh’s “Babu Bangaram” will be releasing in massive number of screens as this is the most awaited film in this season. Venkatesh is doing a movie after a long gap and it is directed by Maruthi whose last film “Bhale Bhale Magadivoy” became a blockbuster and has raised the expectations. The theatrical trailer saying “Bobbili Raja Is Back” is another advantage. So this will be movie of the month in August.

Sai Dharam Tej who is on the hit track with three consecutive hits is also planning to release his new movie “Thikka” on 13th August but it is not yet  clear whether the movie would compete with “Babu Bangaram” or not. If the movie misses that date, it will come a week later.

Couple of other small movies are also looking for 19th or 26th August slots. NTR’s “Janatha Garage” is set to release on 2nd September, so all small movies will queue up to hit the theaters.
