Thanks to the controversial posters, Vijay Devarakonda's "Arjun Reddy" has now become 'hot' in trade circles.
The film's hero Vijay Devarakonda has created enough buzz around the film by doing his best to create some amount of controversy around it.
He spoke f*#@ words at the pre-release function and also called veteran Congressman V Hanumantha Rao 'thatha' in a tweet.
Looks like the posters and the tweet have immensely helped the film to instantly connect with the youth. In fact, all paid premieres in Hyderabad in 10 theatres have been sold out.
The film is slated for release on August 25, but the makers are confident of their movie and are holding premiere shows on the night of August 24.
Sunil Narang of Asian Cinemas is happy that the small film has turned out to be a crowd-puller and getting such huge advance bookings.
Vijay Devarakonda's last film "Dwaraka" was a huge flop. But a lot of hype is being created around his forthcoming film.
