Sekhar Kammula has tendency to develop a relationship with his movies. In the past, he called "Happy Days" his son. He termed "Leader" as his mother. Now he has declared that his upcoming release "Fidaa" is his daughter.
Explaining the reason behind this strange habit, he says: "Happy Days was about fun times of youth and realizing their true potential. I want my son to be like that. Hence I called it my son. 'Leader' was all about a mother teaching a son to be a good citizen and a leader. In the case of 'Fidaa', I want my daughter to be like Sai Pallavi in the movie - rebellious, independent. So, I am calling this my daughter."
Sekhar Kammula looks quite confident about this movie as he says he wrote the script with much passion.
"This is a story that I have been planning to tell for a long time. A love story set in the US had to be told as I lived there," he said.
He also says that Sai Pallavi will become a huge star after the release of "Fidaa".
