BO Report: Oopiri Excellent In Class Centers

Last week has been a good week for Nagarjuna's "Oopiri" as the film won great reviews and was appreciated as one of the best Telugu movies made in the recent times.

True to the appreciation of critics, the film did run extremely well in A class centers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states as well as in Bangalore region.

In USA, the movie has entered into profit zone in the first five days itself as it grossed more than one million dollars.

On the other hand, the movie has not performed well in mass centers like Ceded and Nellore areas. Since the budget of the movie is too big, it would be tough for the producers to recover the total investment.

Yet, the film has helped director Vamsi, Nagarjuna and Karthi in many ways. Director Vamsi Paidipally's graph has hit the roof and he is being praised by one and all.

Nagarjuna has regained his box-office power as this is his third consecutive after "Soggade Chinni Nayana" and "Manam". Tamil star Karthi has established his position in Tollywood with this. He can now comfortably do movies in Telugu.

Two days before the release of "Oopiri", Sundeep Kishan starrer "Run" also hit the screens but the movie was a total washout. Although the concept of the movie was appreciable, it turned out to be another dud for Sundeep Kishan.
