Known for his sharp tongue, senior Tollywood actor-producer Mohan Babu on Saturday slammed what he called a 'Producers Syndicate’.
Speaking to media at Dongaata success meet, Mohan Babu said "film Industry does not belong to any one individual or a group of people. Those who make high cost films but cheat financiers are Lafoots,” he said and added that he would soon speak to the media on this. He promised to stand by the small producers.
He alleged that a few big producers, who invest crores, are spoiling the Telugu film industry. “I will always support and stand by small producers", Mohan Babu said.
It may be mentioned that producer and director Thammareddy Bharadwaj had also slammed the producers’ cartel.
