Mahesh Babu and director Koratala Siva's current film "Bharath Ane Nenu" is a red hot project in Tollywood right now.
Buyers and distributors have already commenced talks with producer D V V Danayya to bag the movie's rights for various territories.
On the other hand, TV channels are competing with each other to snap the movie’s satellite rights.
Reliable sources have informed us that producer Danayya is demanding record price for the satellite rights and his asking price is in the range of Rs 25 cr per language. No other Telugu film was sold for such high price for one language each.
Kotala Siva's movies fetch terrific television rating points. His "Mirchi", "Srimanthudu" and "Janatha Garage" brought huge profits and ratings to the satellite channels.
Hence, channels are ready to pay Rs 20 Cr to "Bharath Ane Nenu", but the producer is said to be demanding Rs 25 Cr. If the deal is struck, it will create new record in satellite rights in Telugu movies.
"Bharath Ane Nenu" featuring Mahesh Babu and Bollywood actress Kiara Advani is currently under production in Hyderabad.
The film is expected to hit the screens on Jan 11, 2018.
