There were many speculations and reports in national and Bollywood media that Rajamouli’s “Baahubali 2” and Shankar’s “2.0” would compete with each other in April 2017. There were reports that Shankar’s “2.0” would either come on April 14th or May 1st next year.
Although Rajamouli and his production team were confident that Rajinikanth’s movie would not compete with their “Baahubali 2” which is due for release on 28th April in the best interests of the South Indian movie industry, still they worried about the possibility.
Now it is clear that Shankar’s “2.0” is set for grand release on Deepavali 2017 festival, the team of “Baahubali 2” are not only relieved they are very happy that they need not to worry about the competition now. So, “Baahubali 2” will not have any big competition from Tollywood or Kollywood or Bollywood movie in the coming summer.
Featuring Prabhas and Rana in the principal roles, “Baahubali 2” has completed 90 percent of its shooting part and the remaining work is now being done in Hyderabad.
There is also talk that if the shoot of the remaining 10 percent getting delayed further, Rajamouli may move the movie to his lucky month July 2017. Even then he won’t be facing any competition from any big movie.
