It is now clear that Nithin's "LIE" will not recover its investment from theatrical run as the film hasn't shown any improvement in collections in the recent days. So, the postmortem for the film's failure has begun.
For starters, pitting this unromantic drama with two mass movies was a fatal mistake. The movie's romantic track was also boring.
But in an industry that thrives on sentiments, Nithin's fans have come up with another reason.
They feel that senior Tamil actor Arjun Sarja is not lucky for young heroes like Nithin and Ram. Arjun-Ram combination has failed earlier. In the past, Nithin had teamed up with Arjun in director Krishnavamsi's 'Sri Anjaneyam' and the movie was a big flop.
Ten years later they teamed up again for LIE and the result is the same. So, fans point out that this is an unlucky combination.
