However, reports suggest that the gesture was driven by a deeper reason than just box-office performance.
According to social media buzz, Pawan Kalyan learned that Sujeeth had sold his own Land Rover Defender to fund a foreign schedule for OG.
Earlier reports had indicated that the director was disappointed when the producers declined permission for a Japan schedule due to budget constraints.
Convinced that those portions were crucial to the film, Sujeeth reportedly decided to finance the overseas shoot himself.
It was during the final stages of production that Pawan Kalyan came to know about Sujeeth’s sacrifice. By then, the overseas portions had reportedly been filmed in Bangkok, significantly enhancing the film’s visual appeal.
With OG going on to become the highest-grossing film of Pawan Kalyan’s career, the actor chose to gift Sujeeth the same Land Rover Defender model he had parted with earlier.

Meanwhile, it is said that producer Danayya has not yet taken back the advance payment he had given to Sujeeth.
