Film industry is a place where it gives livelihood for thousands of artistes and technicians. Out of them only a few hundreds get fame and comfortable life.
Only a few tens out of them become ultra rich owning estates and luxury cars. But only one or two become the super ultra rich.
It is very difficult to make Rs 100 Cr even after 25 years of struggle in film industry scoring big hits now and then. But how it sounds if some individual gets Rs 200 Cr profit with a single film?
We are talking about DVV Danayya who bagged this jackpot.
RRR is making an approximate profit of Rs 450 Cr as per the sources. All the non theatrical rights including satellite, digital rights of all languages are sold at Rs 400 Cr.
Keeping the costs incurred plus Rs 35 Cr remuneration each for the heroes aside, Rajamouli is the 50% share holder in the profit.
So, the total profit is around Rs 450 Cr and Rajamouli is going to bag Rs 225 Cr. But both DVV Danayya and Rajamouli have decided to keep Rs 25 Cr each aside, to face the film delay costs and special payments to some key technicians.
So, if at all Danayya wishes to retire, he can happily do that with this Rs 200 Cr table profit.
