The curve of coronavirus cases has not flattened in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana yet, but almost all businesses are allowed to operate.
In this backdrop, Nag Ashwin is demanding the governments to allow cinema halls to function. He says the movies are meant to be watched in theaters, not on streaming apps.
“I'm all for safety, but with gyms, bars, restaurants, malls, temples, bus, train, metro, flights open, it feels about time even movie theaters open...cant wait to mask up and watch movies the way they are meant to be watched...not pause, fast-forward, rewind...,” he tweeted.
Nag Ashwin is currently working on the pre-production work of #Prabhas21, a sci-fi thriller starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.
The film will commence its regular shoot in March 2021.
