The result of Raja Saab disappointed everyone. The impact of the film’s failure was felt immediately by two people; director Maruthi and heroine Malavika Mohanan.
After the poor result, Maruthi reportedly went into a low phase, while Malavika was forced to rethink her career plans.
Before the release of Raja Saab, Malavika had received two to three good offers. However, she deliberately kept them aside, hoping that Raja Saab would take her to the next level.
Her plan was to continue doing films with big heroes and gradually increase her remuneration.
But Raja Saab shattered those hopes. With the film turning out to be an outright flop, all her plans were turned upside down.
Offers from Tollywood have reportedly reduced, and she is now in a position where she has to choose one project from the two offers in hand.
Sources say Malavika is now ready to act opposite a young hero. However, the remuneration is not at the level she had expected.
